Kisharon beats Beckham in prestigious film award
Kisharon has won a prestigious film award – beating a UNICEF film with David Beckham for top spot.
The charity scooped the Gold EVCOM Clarion Award for its powerful three-minute video, Through My Eyes, at an awards ceremony in central London last Wednesday.
The short video, made by Vanilla Films, premiered at the charity’s annual dinner in July, where £800,000 was raised.
It used heightened sound effects to give a powerful insight into how the world might appear to people with learning disabilities, who are hypersensitive.
Last year, Kisharon’s 13-minute film, Through Life’s Journey also won EVCOM Clarion’s Innovation category.
