The Israel Football Association released a statement on Sunday, saying it had agreed to part ways with Levy, who was appointed in 2016. IFA President Ofer Eini said: “I would like to thank Levy for his work, we had good moments but also bad moments. We will give the next coach all the conditions required for success.”

Levy said: “I had the privilege of coaching the Israeli national team. I have no remorse that I took this honourable and prestigious job.
