Liberal Judaism’s chief executive senior rabbi and councillor Danny Rich is featured in an election leaflet for the Labour Party ahead of the 12 December poll.

Rich, who backed Labour’s Ross Houston in the Tory-held Finchley and Golders Green seat, is quoted in the canvassing material in his capacity as Barnet councillor.

“I believe Ross should be MP for F&GG because he is a dedicated councillor who has tirelessly campaigned for a People’s Vote. Ross delights in the diversity of our community, has called for a zero tolerance of antisemitism within and outside the Labour Party and is sympathetic on issues of concern to the Jewish community,” he is quoted as saying in the pamphlet.

Houston is standing against Luciana Berger (Liberal Democrat) and Mike Freer (Conservatives) in the marginal seat.
