Man arrested for Nazi salute, and shouting “Hitler is going to kill you all Jews”

A man has been arrested after doing a Nazi salute and shouting “Hitler is going to kill you all Jews.”

Local volunteer neighbourhood watch group Shomrim posted an image of the incident on Twitter. They said the it occurred on the junction of Amhurst Park and Stamford Hill, before police were called.

The police told Jewish News they were called “to reports of a man making anti-Semitic comments to people on Clapton Common, E5” at approximately 10pm on 21 October.

“Officers attended and a man, 39, was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order.

He remains in custody at an east London police station.

Officers from Hackney Community Safety Unit investigate.”
