Man faces arrest warrant after ‘religiously aggravated incident’ in synagogue

He is alleged to have entered a synagogue in Stamford Hill and shouted offensive comments at congregants

A man alleged to have shouted offensive comments at congregants in a synagogue on Stamford Hill faces an arrest warrant after failing to appear in court.

Mateusz Dagem Tsedal, 31, was due to appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on April 16 to answer a charge of a religiously aggravated public order offence.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “This follows an incident at a synagogue in Stamford Hill on 11 March in which Tsedal is alleged to have entered the building and shouted offensive comments at attendees.”
