Masters football review – week 11
There were victories for the leaders of both the Masters League Divisions, writes Jeremy Silverstone.
North London Raiders and London Lions B extended their respective leads with convincing wins.
DIVISION ONE:
TABLE
Leaders North London Raiders extended the gap at the top of the table to nine points after they beat HMH. Dave Eden scored twice, with Andrew Wolfin and Tony Plaskow also on target, as they maintained their 100 percent winning start to the season.
Spencer Simons and Neil Kochane strikes had pulled HMH back level at 2-2.
DIVISION TWO:
TABLE
London Lions B opened up a six-point advantage at the top of the table thanks to a comfortable 5-0 win over Brady B. Michael Abraham scored twice, with David Price, Marc Morris and a David Kyte penalty sealing the win.
Elsewhere, EDRS and Temple Fortune played out a goalless draw.
