Raiders extend their lead in Div One, while there was a first win for Harriers, writes Jeremy Silverstone.

Lee Cash scored twice for Division One’s table-toppers, Chigwell top-scored as they hit ten, while Hendon Harriers claimed a first league win of the season.

DIVISION ONE:
TABLE

North London Raiders extended their lead at the top of the table, thanks to a 4-2 win over Brady A. Lee Cash’s double, along with Wayne Davidson and Dave Eden strikes had given Raiders a 4-0 cushion by the interval. Brady halved the deficit through Scott Ansher and Andy Miller, but Raiders ran out winners.

Chigwell, meanwhile, returned to winning ways as they well and truly tamed Lions A. Adam Stolerman and Neil Gallagher scored four each, with Richard Slater and Joel Berg also on target in a 10-3 victory, which moves them up to second place.

DIVISION TWO:
TABLE

St John’s Wood Tigers failed to close the gap on the leaders as they were held to a 2-2 draw against Marshside. Martin Leslie and Jason Rich netting for the latter, with Ilan Cohen and John Perloff earning a point for Tigers.

Hendon Harriers celebrated their first win of the season as Brian Deal, Adam Brand and Ian Sumray goals gave them a 3-2 win over Brady B.

Elsewhere, EDRS came out 5-3 winners over Glenthorne, having been 3-1 down, Gary Adams bagged a double, with Sid Shaw also on target. But two goals from Jason Sears on his EDRS debut, plus strikes from Darren Coon, Steve Krieger and Barry Silkman ensured the win for the Sky Blues.
