MGBSFL – WEEK 17 REVIEW

DIVISION ONE:
TABLE

Chigwell moved up into second place after two goals from Scott Warren and Anthony Mendel helped them to a 6-3 win over HMH. Steve Summers and Lloyd Becker made it a sweet six for visitors, while Jamie Beaumont, James Temple and Jeremy Teacher replied for the hosts.

DIVISION TWO:
TABLE

Marshside fought back from falling behind early on to beat Temple Fortune and move up to second spot with a 2-1 win.

Robert Botkai put Fortune ahead, but goals from Mark Davies and Andrew Cohen, together with Marshside goalkeeper Nick Nathan doing his bit by saving a penalty, secured the Essex men the win.

Glenthorne moved up into third spot as goals from Lloyd Nygate, Adam Lennard and Greg Morris saw them beat St John’s Wood Tigers 3-2. Steve Gold and Darryl Lazarus hit back for The Tigers.
