Alex Bourne scored twice as Raiders extended their lead at the top of Division One

There was a mixture of league and cup action in the latest round of Masters League football on Sunday morning.

Two goals from Graeme Grossman saw Brady A through to the semi-finals, as they beat Lions A 2-1, Michael Abraham scoring the latter’s consolation.

DIVISION ONE:

North London Raiders extended their lead at the top of the table to ten points as Alex Bourne’s double, along with strikes from James Cartmell and Lee Cash saw them beat Scrabble 4-1.

DIVISION TWO:
TABLE

EDRS and St John’s Wood Tigers continue to battle it out for second place in Division Two, with both sides claiming the three points, albeit with varying degrees of ease.

EDRS maintained their point advantage over the Tigers as Mark Kingston’s double and Martin Seifert’s strike helped them to a 3-2 win over Hendon Harriers, for whom Graham Meyer netted twice.

The Tigers were much more comfortable in securing their three points, as they were emphatic 9-2 winners over Brady B. Grant Morgan and Jason Bentley scored two each, with Oren Wolf, Johnny Mansoor, Jonny Feinmesser, Mark Nathan, and a wonder goal from Ilan Cohen sealing the rout. Trevor Tucker and Spencer Brookner replied for Brady.
