It was a good day for the London Lions sides, as both secured wins, scoring nine goals between them, writes Jeremy Silverstone.

Danny Daggers scored twice for London Lions A

Danny Daggers’ double helped the Lions A side consolidate third spot in Division One, while the B team – Division Two champions – increased their lead to ten points.

DIVISION ONE:
TABLE

The one game in the Division saw Maccabi London Lions A go clear in third spot as two goals from Danny Daggers helped them to a 4-0 win over Brady A, Paul Lenchner and Saul Conway were also on target.

DIVISION TWO:
TABLE

The champions Maccabi London Lions B turned in a five-star performance as two goals each from Ory Halperin and Michael Abraham helped them to a 5-0 win over Temple Fortune. Marc Morris claimed the fifth.

At the foot of the table, the match between the bottom two saw Hendon Harriers come back from a goal down to beat Brady B 2-1. Grant Morgan’s 25-yard shot had given Brady a first-half lead, but goals from Darren Coon and Brian Deal secured the points for Harriers.
