Chigwell and London Lions B recorded emphatic cup semi-final wins, while Lloyd Becker’s double helped Brady A secure the only league win of the day.

Division Two hopefuls St John’s Wood Tigers’ hopes of reaching the final came to an abrupt halt as they were thrashed 9-1 by Chigwell.

Adam Stolerman helped himself to a hat-trick, Steve Summers and Richard Slater scored two each, with Russell Yershon and Joel Berg goals completing the rout. Mark Nathan scored for Tigers. Chigwell will face Brady A in the final on 27 April.

The Tigers’ consolation is they still have the final of this competition to look forward to – and in that final they will meet Division Two champions Lions B, who enjoyed an emphatic 11-0 semi-final win over Hendon Harriers. Danny Schindler scored four times, Marc Morris and Arthur Duke scored two each, with Adam Brand, Jon Steinberg and Ory Halperin also all finding the back of the net. The final takes place on 20 April.

DIVISION ONE:

Two goals from Lloyd Becker helped Brady A to a 3-1 victory over HMH, Kevin Lotzof also got on the scoresheet.

DIVISION TWO:

Marshside and Temple Fortune shared the points, with James Ryan netting for Fortune in a 1-1 draw.
