Masters football review – week 30

The only game played in the Masters League saw St John's Wood Tigers put in a five-star performance , Jeremy Silverstone.

St John’s Wood Tigers moved up into second spot in Division Two following victory over EDRS Stonegrove.

A double from Jason Bentley saw St John’s Wood Tigers claim a 5-2 win over EDRS – which was enough to move them up to second spot in the table.

Steve Krieger and Dean Schulberg had fired EDRS into an early lead, but Bentley’s brace, along with strikes from Paul Herszaft, Darryl Lazarus and an own goal sealed the 5-2 win.

This Thursday evening sees the final of the Henry Swerner MMFL Cup, sponsored by Visualeyes Barnet Opticians and Sunglasses at Rowley Lane.

Brady Maccabi A take on Chigwell Athletic in what promises to be an exciting encounter. The match kicks off at 7.45pm and entrance is free, so we hope to see lots of fans there.
