London Lions made it four wins from four as they joined St John’s Wood at the top of the table – by beating them 1-0. Danny Schindler converted Arthur Duke’s pinpoint cross with just five minutes remaining, leaving Tigers’ manager John Perloff feeling ‘devastated’.

Marshside came from behind to beat Glenthorne 3-2 thanks to goals from Martin Leslie, Sacha Alter and Fara Moghim.

Temple Fortune recovered from falling 2-0 down, to beat Hendon Harriers 6-4. Robert Botkai scored twice, with Joel Davis, Jeremy Fess, Leon Wise and Graham Mayer also all on target. Brian Deal’s double, along with Ian Sumray’s strike and an own goal hit back for the Harriers.
