DIVISION ONE:

North London Raiders head the table after a 6-1 win over second-placed Brady A. Tony Plaskow helped himself to a hat-trick, while Wayne Davidson, James Cartmell and Dan Levy were also all on target. Raiders and Maccabiah football manager (35+), Elan Ovits told jewishnews.co.uk: “We played well today against a strong Brady team. It’s still very early days and just another three points. We look forward to our next game against the Champs Chigwell who will be a much tougher test.” Scott Warren netted Brady’s consolation.

A Michael Abraham penalty was enough to give Lions A their first win of the campaign, as they saw off the challenge from HMH.

DIVISION TWO:
TABLE

St John’s Wood Tigers moved three points clear at the top of the table as they won their third game from four games. Perry Somer’s double, along with strikes from Adam Soller and Johnny Mansoor seeing them to a 4-0 win over Temple Fortune.

Elsewhere in a game of two halves, EDRS and Marshside ended up sharing the points in a 3-3 draw. Martin Seifert’s brace and Tony Platman’s penalty had given EDRS a seemingly unassailable lead just before the interval, but goals from Marc Morris either side of the break reduced the deficit, before Justin Woolf levelled to earn Marshside their first point of the season.
