Chigwell made clear their intention to regain the title with an emphatic 7-1 win over Brady Maccabi A. Doubles from Scott Warren and
Daniel Sugarman, coupled with strikes from Ben Graham, Daniel Castle and Robert Donn saw them to the win – though only after Tim Frome had fired the visitors in front.

Lions A also signalled their ambitions as Michael Abrahams’ brace inspired them to a 5-1 win over Scrabble. Saul Conway, Danny Gordon and Bradley Lazarus also all finding the back of the net, while Tim Levene netted Scrabble’s consolation.

DIVISION TWO:
TABLE

Two debut goals from Marc Morris and one from Martin Seifert saw EHRS to a 3-0 win over Brady B, whilst a late goal from Gary Myers secured a 2-1 victory for St John’s Wood Tigers over Marshside.

Tigers had taken the lead through Jason Bentley just before half-time and when Leon Wise headed in a Barry Silkman cross with just five minutes remaining, Marshside thought they’d earned themselves a point, only to be denied by Myers’ last gasp winner.
