Masters review – Lions join Brady at top of the table

Two goals from Michael Abraham helped the Rowley Lane side to a comfortable 5-1 win over Brady B.

London Lions moved joint-level at the top of the table thanks to an emphatic win over Brady B, while Glenthorne were the day’s only other victors.

Michael Abraham scored twice, with Paul Buxton, Ory Halperin and Darren Dryer also all on target.

The battle between EHRS and St John’s Wood Tigers ended all square as Adam Soller’s second half strike for Tigers was cancelled out by John Dubiner’s late header.

Glenthorne edged their game against Marshside by a solitary goal from Marc Linch, despite playing the second half with just ten men. Glenthorne also had stand-in goalkeeper Sid Shaw to thank for a string of fine saves, including one from the spot.
