Chigwell moved to within a point off top spot in Division One, while Lions maintained their title challenge in Division Two, writes Jeremy Silverstone
Chigwell turned in a five-star performance at the top of Division One, while Lions put seven goals past Hendon in Division Two.
DIVISION ONE:
TABLE
Chigwell moved to within a point of leaders North London Raiders thanks to a 5-2 win against Scrabble. Lloyd Becker and Scott Warren scored two each, with Richard Slater claiming their fifth. Adam Barton and Steven Moss replied for Scrabble.
DIVISION TWO:
TABLE
Lions maintained their title challenge with a thumping 7-0 victory over Hendon. Ory Halperin and Darren Dryer both claimed hat-tricks, with Peter Joffe also on target.
Marshside are a point and place behind Lions after they came back from a goal behind to beat St John’s Wood Tigers 3-1. John Perloff put the Tigers ahead, though Sam Nourazi’s penalty and goals from Fara Moghim and Ed Saleh saw Marshside to the points.
