The Maccabi Masters Cup kicked off this weekend – and it saw Chigwell clearly signal their intentions with an 11-2 win over Division Two leaders EHRS.

Lloyd Becker notched up five goals and Mark Conway’s double, along with strikes from Scott Warren, Adam Klein, Richard Slater and Rob Donn, saw them to the most emphatic of wins. Steve Krieger and Malcolm Joseph – from the penalty spot – replied for EHRS.

Lions A also progressed, at the expense of Brady A. Graeme Grossman gave Brady A the lead, but strikes from Rob Glass, Bradley Lazarus and Craig Pearl turned it round for Lions as they won 3-1.
