Chigwell moved up into second spot place after they produced a thumping 7-2 win over Brady A.

Lloyd Becker and Daniel Castle scored two each, with Alex Levack, Mark Conway and Richard Slater making it a sweet seven for the Essex men. Mark Wagman and Shnayer Shapiro replied for Brady.

In the battle of the bottom two, goals from Jeremy Kornhauser, Andy Miller, Dan Ruckin and Paul Lenchner inspired Scrabble to a 4-2 win over HMH, with Alex Bourne striking twice for HMH.

DIVISION TWO:
TABLE

Table-topper EHRS bounced back from last week’s first league defeat of the season as two goals from Ashley Davidson helped them to a 6-1 win over Brady B. James Bloom, Malcolm Joseph, Martin Seifert and Ian Leader rounded off the scoring for the leaders, Gary Rose scored Brady’s consolation.

St John’s Wood Tigers beat Temple Fortune by the same score, thanks to a brace apiece from Jason Bentley and Steve Gold and one each from John Perloff and Adam Soller. Yali Mamouri replied for Fortune.

Moving ominously up the table to challenge EHRS are Lions B, who are now second after their 4-1 victory over Marshside. Danny Schindler, Bradley Lazarus, Max Radford and Craig Henry scored for Lions, with Marshside’s solitary reply coming from an own goal.
