Chigwell completed a double thanks to a 4-1 win over Brady at Rowley Lane.

Despite falling behind to an early Dan Sugarman goal, Brady proved to be more than a match for the newly-crowned league champions, and it was somewhat against the run of play that Chigwell doubled their lead on 32 minutes, when Adam Stolerman converted from the spot after Dean Nygate had been fouled.

Immediately after the interval, however, Ashley Davidson provided Brady with a lifeline as he halved the deficit, and Brady then had several opportunities to equalise.

Nevertheless, with 22 minutes remaining, Man-of-the-Match Steve Summers broke down the left, and his pinpoint cross was dispatched by Dan Sugarman to make it 3-1 to Chigwell. And as the game entered its final minutes, Sugarman returned the favour for Summers to wrap up the win for Chigwell.

In the final league match of the season, North London Raiders ran out 6-1 winners over HMH. Tony Plaskow scored twice, with Andrew Wolfin, James Cartmell, Don Hodes and Wayne Davidson also on target. The win took them to within two points of Chigwell, but this year belonged to Chigwell.
