UPDATED TABLES

DIVISION TWO:
London Maccabi Lions secured the title, and with it, a unique double, following their triumph in the Henry Swerner MMFL Cup final two weeks ago, having beaten the top three teams in Division 1 on their way.

The league title was assured as they beat off the challenge from St John’s Wood Tigers to win 5-3, giving them an unassailable lead at the top of the table. Marc Morris helped himself to a hat-trick, with Stuart Coutts and a Danny Schindler penalty wrapping up the scoring for the Lions. Brian Deal, David Hyman and Martin Schultz scored for Tigers.

Meanwhile, EDRS beat Marshside 7-3 to guarantee themselves a top-three finish, as Ian Leader’s hat-trick, along with strikes from Russell Rich, Martin Seifert, Jon Holman and Malcolm Joseph saw them to a comprehensive win. Ian Sumray, Spencer Brookner and Dan Cuby replied for Marshside.

Glenthorne B saw off Temple Fortune by the same score, courtesy of two goals from Gary Adams, along with strikes from Sid Shaw, Paul van Gelder, Adam Lennard, Neil Richards and an own goal. Yali Mamouri scored twice for Fortune, with Phil Silver also on target.
