#Masters: Sunday Masters review – week 17

The Raiders saw their Division One title hopes suffer a blow, but there was no such problem for the Division Two leaders as they made it 11 consecutive wins, writes Jeremy Silverstone

North London Raiders’ title aspirations were dealt a blow as they went down 3-1 to Brady A. Ashley Davidson scored twice, with Scott Warren also netting for Brady, Wayne Davidson replied for Raiders.

Chigwell took full advantage of Raiders’ defeat as they returned to top spot with a thumping 12-0 win over Faithfold. Adam Stolerman helped himself to five of the goals, with Mark Conway and Steve Summers scoring two each. Dean Nyman, Jamie Fox and Alex Levack completed the rout.

Scrabble ran out comfortable 5-1 winners over HMH, being inspired by two goals direct from corners from man-of-the-match Paul Stein. James Temple scored HMH’s consolation.

DIVISION TWO:

Two goals from Glenthorne’s Gary Adams earned his side the points as they edged out Brady B with a 2-1 win. Gary Field replied for Brady with a 20-yard free-kick.

Marshside and Hendon Harriers shared the spoils, with Brian Deal and Adam Keizner giving Harriers a 2-0 lead at the interval, only for Sam Nourazi and Daryl Manning to even things up with long-range strikes after the break.

London Lions continue to roar towards the title as Marc Morris’ solitary goal gave them a 1-0 win over St John’s Wood Tigers to make it eleven straight wins.
