North London Raiders suffered a major blow in their bid for the title as they were beaten 5-2 by Brady A. Gideon Gold and Elan Ovits scored for Raiders, but Mark Wagman’s double, plus strikes from Tim Frome, Gavin Sherman and Pierre Lotzof ensured Brady took the spoils and assures them of a top-three finish.

Meanwhile, the bottom two clubs – Faithfold and Waldaf Town – battled to a 2-2 draw, with Adam Kaye and Jeremy Asher scoring for Faithfold, and Alex Bourne and James Kaye netting for Waldaf.

DIVISION TWO:
RESULTS & FIXTURES
TABLE
The ‘Invincibles’, Maccabi London Lions celebrated last week’s title win with their 13th consecutive league win, beating Brady B 5-0. Michael Abraham scored twice, with David Price, Jonny Steinberg and Jason Harris all scoring – Marc Morris setting up all five goal. The damage would have been worse, were it not for the heroics of Brady ‘keeper Martin Schultz, who denied Lions at least another eight goals in one-on-one situations!

Geoff Isaacs and Sacha Alter scored respectively in Temple Fortune’s 1-1 draw against and Marshside.
