—————————————————-

GOALKEEPER
Grant Waissel (North London Raiders C) – May have been on the losing end, but still produced a number of smart saves

DEFENCE
Danny Berg (Redbridge A) – A consistent performer at right-back all season and deserves it for that alone plus he has never missed a penalty and stepped up again
Dan Breger (FC Team B) – Was brilliant, both defensively and offensively throughout the entire 90 minutes as Team kept up promotion challenge
Rafi Kon (Hendon A) – Solid, strong and commanding at the heart of the Hendon defence
Rob Glass (London Lions Garston) – Quite simply brilliant, influential and a rock at the back as side won the Middlesex County Cup

MIDFIELD:
Mitch Young (FC Team B) – Playing his first game back after returning from a three-month injury and capped off  performance with two assists
Yoav Kestenbaum (Hendon United A) – Was at his creative best at times – scored a goal and was a threat throughout
Ian Baron (L’Equipe) – Playing in a new ‘reverse sweeper’ role, worked ridiculously hard for the 90 minutes, creating a wall in front of the back four meaning Lions had to resort to long-range efforts
Avi Korman (Hendon United A) – Produced a typical energetic box-to-box performance, described as being “a class above.”

ATTACK:
Josh Webber (Boca Jewniors) – Top-notch performance up front, two cooly taken penalties earning his side a point
Max Kyte (London Lions Garston) – Man-of-the-match performance for the Herts side, his two goals helping them to a thumping 6-1 win

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Rob Glass (London Lions Garston)

MANAGERS OF THE WEEK:
Danny Jacobs & Danny Reuben (London Lions Garston)
