—————————————————-

GOALKEEPER
Grant Waissel (NL Raiders C) – May have been on losing side, but made at least three incredible saves, two included a one-on-one with their strikers

DEFENCE
Joel Isaacs (Catford & Bromley) – One of four Cats defenders who were simply described as being class, also got on the scoresheet
Dan King (Oakwood B) – Brilliant at the back for the O’s. Held firm to ensure there was no way through for the Raiders strikers
Dan Lassman (Real Sosobad) – Marshalled the defence superbly and kept the Harmen forward line quiet for a majority of the match
Jonathan Peters (Scrabble) – Was described as being a rock at the back for Scrabble as they made it six wins from six

MIDFIELD:
Luke Brookner (Camden Park) – Second game back from lengthy injury spell, though looks like he’s never been away. Tough in the tackle, was everywhere both in defence and attack
Ethan Zone (Hendon United A) – Described as giving a “Duracell performance”, showed unbelievable energy from start to finish, scored two great goals and had numerous assists
Scott Kay (Real Sosobad) – Retained the ball brilliantly, won his challenges and scored a well taken penalty to put Sosobad 2-1 up.
Leor Harel (Faithfold C) – Solid performance from the Greens, and capped it off by netting the only goal of the game

ATTACK:
Andy Smith (L’Equipe) – Was simply relentless up front, as he bagged himself four goals to close in on top spot in the league goalscoring chart
Harrison Midda (Woodford Wanderers) – Can’t argue against a scoring first half hat-trick in his first game in nine months

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jeff Gotch (Catford & Bromley)

MANAGER OF THE WEEK:
Harrison Midda (Woodford Wanderers)
