A social media personality and former pornographic film actress has been widely criticised following inflammatory remarks about IDF actions in the West Bank.

Beirut-born Mia Khalifa, a Lebanese American influencer with 27.8 million followers on Instagram, took to Tiktok to claim that Israeli soldiers were “taught to aim at children because that is how disgusting their mindset is”.

Her comments received widespread disgust and criticism across both Muslim and Jewish communities.

In 2021, Khalifa was again roundly condemned for calling Israel ‘apartheid’ in a Twitter post whilst drinking Nazi-era champagne.

“My wine is older than your apartheid ‘state,'” she claimed as she consumed the bottle made in Nazi-occupied Reims, France in 1943.

In 2018, Khalifa claimed she had received death threats from ISIS for wearing a hijab in one of her adult film scenes.
