Milch looking to KO Kevin in final fight of year

Milch returns to the ring looking for win number nine

Tony Milch returns to the ring on Friday night when he takes on Kevin McCauley at the Camden Centre in King’s Cross.

Up against a 36-year-old, who’s been involved in 127 fights, Milch, for whom this will be his ninth professional fight, said: “He will be the most experienced opponent I’ve faced so far, so it’s a level up for me, but it’s a challenge I’m looking forward to.

“I’ve trained hard for the past three months, nut while with the same routine, have been sparring with a better calibre of partner.”

Not having boxed since the end of October, he said: “I wanted to get back sooner, but finding a date has been a problem, but now it’s here, I hope to put on a show for my supporters.”

Saying he wants to end the year on a high, he said: “I want to put on a dominant show, and to get a KO would be great. But I want to perform well, win, which will then see me go into the new year on a high, and get closer to securing that title fight.”
