* FENCING:

Having seen Guy Cohen claim Team GB’s first medal at the Games on Monday, the fencers continued to deliver the goods on Monday.

The junior team, comprising of Richard Bernstein, Joel Crowne and Leo Gundle winning bronze and silver within the space of an hour.

The 35’s also fell to their second loss in two days, as they were comprehensively beaten by the hosts

Joel Nathan’s side made it three wins from three as two goals each from Jake Kelley and Scott Kashket helped them to this emphatic win. Golas from Stanley Offord, Michael Kenley and David Seitler wrapped up the win.

Adam Lustigman’s side claimed their first win of the competition as two goals from Darren Cohen helped them to this victory. Olly Olsen, Mark Wagman and Adam Gishen also found the back of the net.

YOUTH
Russia 4 Maccabi GB 3
Richard Horne’s youth side were beaten in a thrilling seven-goal thriller. Sammy Horne, Oron Sheldon and Jordan Kay all scored for Team GB.

JUNIOR
Brazil 7 Maccabi GB 2
Jordan Grundman had fired them into an early lead, though by the time Jonah Gordon-Boyd found himself on the scoresheet, the game was well past the Brits.

The open team kept up their fine start to the competition as two goals from Nick Landesberg helped them on their way to an emphatic win. Ricky Engleman, Liron Mannie, Charlie Rubin and Motti Colman also all got on the scoresheet.

The juniors claimed their first win – following defeat to Australia yesterday – by completing a double over the South Africans.

* TABLE TENNIS:

The open team agonisingly lost out on a medal after being defeated 3-2 by USA, 11-9 in the fifth and final set of the final match. Team USA featured the world-ranked Michael Landers in their team.

* GOLF:

The boy’s team finished their tournament in last place.

MALE 200m FREESTYLE FINAL
Adam Warner finished the final in last place, though still, amongst others, the 5km to take part in on Sunday.

FEMALE 4X100 FREESTYLE FINAL
GB’s quartet of Hollie Fisher, Rachel Ayrton, Chloe Jacobs & Kramer Elisha finished the final in 6th place
