More medicines arrive for besieged Ukraine residents from United Hatzalah president

Medics volunteering on the front line in Ukraine have received extra supplies from the creator of their organisation, on a visit to the front line.

President and Founder of United Hatzalah, Eli Beer, helped out its volunteers who are delivering much needed medical supplies to residents of cities being beseiged by the Russian army.

Beer also spent some time praying for a quick end of the conflict and for the speedy recovery of those injured, at the gravesite of Rabbi Nachman in Uman.

He visited with United Hatzalah team members who have been operating a group of ambulances and providing medical care to injured and ill people across a string of cities in Ukraine.

Beer and his entourage brought with them much needed medical supplies from Israel and delivered them to the volunteers as well as various medical clinics in the region, including the medical center in Uman.

Beer and his team then headed to Bucha and Kyiv where they met with United Hatzalah team members working there and delivered medical supplies to hospitals. The team met with health and government officials to get a better understanding of the medical and humanitarian needs in the country.

United Hatzalah has been providing humanitarian aid and medical care and supplies to refugees as well as operating ambulance teams inside Ukraine, treaging and rescuing hundreds of individuals.

The organization also airlifted nearly 3,000 Ukrainian refugees to Israel.

During his visit in Uman, which was one of United Hatzalah’s main centers of activity in Ukraine before the war Beer said: “During peacetime, we see several hundreds if not thousands of worshippers, but now the place is empty. Me and my team are now praying here alone.”
