One Israeli injured in West Bank stabbing terror attack

Terrorist entered a bus at the Elazar junction in Gush Etzion on Thursday morning and stabbed a man with a screwdriver

A 28-year-old man was seriously injured in a terror attack on a bus in the West Bank on Thursday morning, the fourth terrorist incident in Israel in the last 10 days.

An Israeli army spokesman said the Palestinian terrorist stabbed a civilian while the bus was at the Neve Daniel junction close to the major West Bank city of Efrat.

The IDF confirmed that another passenger “operated to thwart the attack and neutralized the terrorist.”


The incident was confirmed by Magen David Adom, with a spokesman saying: “Currently reports are coming in of another terror attack in the Gush Etzion region.

“We are receiving reports from MDA teams and EMTs who are on the scene who are treating one patient at the moment.”


It is the fourth terrorist attack in Israel in the past week and a half. Eleven people have been killed in the worst wave of violence for at least six years.

Israel was already on high alert after four people were killed in Beersheva on 22 March. Then on Sunday two people were killed in a shooting attack in Hadera and on Tuesday five people died in an attack in Bnei Brak.
