Israeli fashion designer Dodo Bar Or has been reinstated on luxury online platform MyTheresa after being removed following a social media post in which she compared Hamas terrorists to Isis terrorists.

Influencer @liudmilahq messaged MyTheresa on Instagram calling for the boycott against Dodo Bar Or’s products.

The platform responded to Liud Milah, saying: “MyTheresa stands firmly against violence and terrorism in all its forms. We do not tolerate any kind of hate speech. We decided today with immediate effect to take the brand Dodo Bar Or out of our assortment. We stand in solidarity with all those seeking peace.”

Other platforms such as Net-a-Porter, Matches and Far Fetch swiftly followed suit and Liud Milah and other influencers encouraged their followers to boycott Dodo Bar Or, accusing her of calling “all Arabs terrorists”.

A spokesperson at Net-a-Porter said: “Discrimination, hate, and violence have no place on our platforms. We apply this policy consistently to all brands we stock in all markets.

“After content appeared that was offensive and inflammatory, the brand in question has been suspended from our sites.”

Jewish News contacted Dodo Bar Or, who said: “Thank you so much for your amazing support! We highly appreciate it! It’s heart-warming during these difficult times we are all going through! Thank you!❤”
