Online retailer Zazzle removes T-shirt branded: ‘At Least I’m Not Jewish’

An American online clothes retailer has withdrawn a $25 T-shirt splashed with the words ‘At Least I’m Not Jewish’ and apologised for any offence caused.

Zazzle pulled its inflammatory user-designed product on Sunday, saying it “does not tolerate or accept hate on our site,” after an outcry from Jewish consumers who accused the company of “rocking antisemitism like it’s the hottest look”.

In a statement, Zazzle said: “As an open marketplace, we are faced with the opportunity to allow people to express their creativity and sentiments, coupled with the challenge of expression that upsets and offends.

“When a product is brought to our attention that violates our terms of service, such as the shirt you referenced, we take swift action to have the product removed.”

Journalist Ashlee Marie Preston asked the firm on Twitter if it was “just casually going to insult Jewish people and rock antisemitism like it’s the hottest look?”
