UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) is an association of lawyers who support Israel using legal skills. It has an impressive track record of successfully invoking laws in support of Israel. The associated charity, UKLFI Charitable Trust, organises lectures, seminars and briefings relating to Israel and helps victims of antisemitism.

We are seeking an Operations Manager, reporting to our Chief Executive and Director of Operations, to coordinate and manage our activities.

Salary £22,000 – £25,000.
Hours may be flexible.
The initial appointment will be for one year with a probationary period.

The role:

a. Co-ordinating our activities
b. Maintaining databases of members, supporters and donors
c. Preparation and circulation of bulletins and other communications
d. Updating websites and news blogs, and preparing press releases and Powerpoint presentations
e. Contributing to Twitter, Facebook and other social media
f. Organising and attending lectures, seminars and other events
g. Monitoring blogs, social media, correspondence and other sources of information,
h. Carrying out research
i. Liaising with other organisations

The successful candidate should have the following qualities and abilities:

Essential:

IT and Writing skills
Inter-personal skills
Accuracy, integrity and discretion
Commitment to supporting Israel

Desirable:

Experience in event organisation
Legal qualification
