ORT Jump Israel challenge: 10 British students wanted for business competition

Mentoring charity ORT UK is head-hunting 10 British students to join a brand-new ‘apprentice style’ employability skills challenge, taking place in Israel this July.

The immersive hybrid programme, in media partnership with Jewish News will take place at World ORT Kadima Mada’s Kfar Silver Youth Village.

It will bring the 10 Brits together with 4 Brazilian and a further 10 Israeli students to collaborate on a challenge presented by Magen David Adom (MDA) UK: to create a solution to the lack of mental health support for teenage MDA volunteers in Israel.

Activities will explore areas including entrepreneurship, market research, critical thinking and design thinking, through workshops led by industry experts, who will then form the panel responsible for choosing the winning team.

The successful group will then work with AI (Artificial Intelligence) digital creative agency Synthesia, and have their concept developed into an ‘AI Avatar’ showcased at the ORT UK Annual Dinner October 2023.
