Over 10,000 people have joined Lord Sacks on WhatsApp and Telegram

Over 10,000 people from all over the world have joined rabbi Lord Sacks on WhatsApp and Telegram for daily messages from the former chief rabbi this Elul.

Rabbi Sacks had urged online users earlier this month to join him on the two messaging platforms ahead of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Daily updates, including audio clips, images and written messages, will be posted from Rosh Chodesh Elul, which falls on Sunday, September 1.

Rabbi Sacks said in a statement: “If it is of interest, then I would love the many readers of the Jewish News to join me on WhatsApp or Telegram as we enter Elul and head towards 5780, and what we pray will be a year of meaning, blessing and peace for Jewish communities around the world.”
