Peter Morrison format change for new season
Jewish football's FA Cup switches back to previous regional format
The Peter Morrison Trophy has reverted back to its previous format ahead of next season’s competition.
A statement from Laurence Thorne, Chairman of the National Maccabi Football Committee, said: “The National Maccabi Football Committee, at its recent AGM, decided that the Peter Morrison Trophy (PMT) would revert back to its old format whereby it will operate on a ’regional’ basis until the last sixteen. The final sixteen teams will consist of 12 from the Southern Zone and 4 from the Northern Zone.”
