Jewish football's FA Cup switches back to previous regional format

The Peter Morrison Trophy has reverted back to its previous format ahead of next season’s competition.
A statement from Laurence Thorne, Chairman of the National Maccabi Football Committee, said: “The National Maccabi Football Committee, at its recent AGM, decided that the Peter Morrison Trophy (PMT) would revert back to its old format whereby it will operate on a ’regional’ basis until the last sixteen. The final sixteen teams will consist of 12 from the Southern Zone and 4 from the Northern Zone.”
