IN PICTURES: JNF UK’s Tu B’Shvat Indoor Picnic & Fun Day

Approximately 1,000 people from across London came together to celebrate Tu B’Shvat at JNF UK’s Indoor Picnic and Fun Day on Sunday at Allianz Park, Hendon.

Attractions included an indoor park, a bouncy castle, face painting, a petting zoo, music and lots of delicious kosher food. MPs Mike Freer and Matthew Offord joined the crowds and planted trees to mark Tu B’Shvat, the new year for trees.

The picnic kiched off this year’s JNF appeal, which is raising funds for an autistic centre in Kiryat Gat.

JNF UK chief executive Matan Toledano said: “I was thrilled to see the excitement of everyone coming together with hundreds of families under one roof. JNF UK is leading the development of the Negev and there is no greater joy of seeing the community having fun and celebrating the important work JNF UK is doing in Israel
