Police investigate after Jewish man allegedly threatened by knifeman
The Community Security Trust is in contact with the victim
A Jewish man has been threatened with a knife in broad daylight in Tower Hamlets, it is claimed.
Police arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence after the incident on Dunbridge Street yesterday morning.
A knife was recovered from the suspect who remains in police custody, Tower Hamlets Police confirmed.
The Community Security Trust is in contact with the victim and giving him support.
