Preparatory School Jewish Studies Teacher

Part time, 0.4 FTE • Required for September 2021

The Role: We are looking for an engaging, passionate and creative colleague who will share and promote the high standards of teaching, pastoral care and Jewish life and learning that are the core values of our school, through the formal and co-curricular opportunities of the school day. Initially teaching Hebrew Reading in Year 1, the successful candidate will also assist in developing and delivering an engaging and enriching topic – based Jewish Studies curriculum in Upper Key Stage 2 that is accessible to all the children. They will have a broad Jewish knowledge and skills base, which they wish to impart to the pupils, equipping them with a range of skills, knowledge and confidence in their Jewish learning. They will be approachable, imaginative and motivated, seeking to bring out the best in all the children whilst working as part of a close-knit team. We offer the opportunity for staff to innovate and extend their own professional development, in a warm and supportive environment.
