A Westminster-based think tank has appointed the former international media adviser to Israel’s President as it’s new second-in-charge.

Jason Pearlman joins The Henry Jackson Society after more than three years in his role with President Reuven Rivlin.

The new appointee, who recently served as a liaison with the White House for the meeting between Rivlin and US Vice-President Mike Pence, has also worked as a strategic consultant in Israel and the UK.

Jason Pearlman said his new position at the foreign policy think-tank was “a tremendous honour and an exciting challenge. Throughout my previous roles, the Henry Jackson Society has been a first port of call for information and research on a wide range of topics. The chance to contribute to this important work is a true privilege.”

HJS founder and Executive Director Alan Mendoza said they were “delighted to have enlisted Jason’s experience and skills to help us continue in this very positive direction.”
