Programming and Communication Director

Bushey United Synagogue, comprising almost 1500 families, is one of the most dynamic flourishing Shuls within the United Synagogue. Located in Hertsmere, it is at the centre of a continually growing local Jewish population based on the recent census. Lead by the Rabbinic Team, Rabbi and Rebbetzin Feldman and Rabbi and Rebbetzin Lister and supported by 400 volunteers, it offers varied and extensive Community engagement.

We are seeking a Director of Programming and Communication to join our Rabbinic team to develop, enhance and deliver first class community engagement activities. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, well organised, and friendly, with excellent communication skills, have the flair and imagination to enthuse, create and add vibrancy to our activities. The candidate should have a proven record in communal teamwork.
