Rolling Stones touch down in Israel for first time

The Rolling Stones touch down in Israel for the first time ever yesterday.

The Rolling Stones landed in Tel Aviv last night, marking the celebrated band’s first ever visit to Israel.

Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie arrived in their logo-emblazoned private plane for their much-anticipated concert in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park on Wednesday, when they will play to 50,000 Israeli fans.

Accompanied by an entourage of some 70 people and at least 100 technical staff, the show is expected to be one of the largest and most technologically sophisticated shows in Tel Aviv history.

Tickets are still available for the concert, at NIS 700 apiece.
