Sacha Baron Cohen’s ex Isla Fisher dating Jewish footballer

Actor Sacha Baron Cohen and footballer Larry Cohen have more in common than just a surname. For Isla Fisher, ex-wife of Sacha, is dating Larry and the two were spotted – leaving a private members’ club on Portobello Road at the weekend.

Fisher, 50, was seen hugging Cohen, 38, as they left the venue.

South African footballer Larry Cohen grew up in Johannesburg and went to King David High School. The former Cape Town Spurs FC player, who has Lithuanian Jewish heritage, is now retired.

Fisher, who grew up in Perth, is well known for her role in Australian series Home and Away and the 2005 movie Wedding Crashers. She and Baron Cohen, 54, divorced last summer.

Fisher converted to marry Baron Cohen in 2010. “I would do anything – move into any religion – to be united in marriage with him,” she said at the time. they have three children, Olive, 18, Elula, 15, and Montgomery, ten.

Since their split, she has told US magazine New Beauty: “It has been a really challenging time. I definitely feel like there’s something about the divorce club that anyone in it understands in a way other people don’t. It’s a different grief.”

However, she added: “I feel like creating a new identity after your divorce is so fun, though. You get to reflect on your values and goals, explore new interests, focus on what you want and rebuild your sense of self.”
