Schama’s Jewish odyssey earns Bafta nod
The five-part BBC two series which aired last September, has been short listed in the Specialist Factual category along with other nominees David Attenborough’s: Natural History Museum Alive and Martin Luther King and the March on Washington and Richard III: The King in the Car Park.
Schama’s documentary ,chronicling 3,000 years of Jewish history, saw him travelling around the world to explore ancient and modern-day Jewish and Hebrew culture.
The Bafta ceremony, to be hosted by Graham Norton, will take place on Sunday 18 May at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
