Israel’s Deputy Silvan Shalom will open the London Stock Exchange this week.
The Interior Minister, who is also in charge of relations with the Palestinians, will have the honour during a brief visit to the capital.
The London Stock Exchange Market Open ceremony is a globally recognised symbol of a world class financial and business centre.
It will be Shalom’s second visit to London in six weeks following his appearance at the Jewish News’ UK-Israel strategic challenges conference last month.
