Alicia Silverstone stars as Cher, a well-to-do high school student from Beverly Hills, who seemingly has a perfect life – that is until she attempts to find new student Tai (Brittany Murphy) a boyfriend. STORYTELLING AND BISCUIT BAKING

Free event for ages 3 to 8, hosted by EmpathyLab. Explore empathy, emotion and social action through storytelling and then help decorate biscuits to take home, with a portion donated to a local care home or Dementia café. At Jewish Museum, on Sunday, 18 August, 11am. www.jewishmuseum.org.uk

WHAT REMAINS: CULTURE UNDER ATTACK

Curated in partnership with Historic England, What Remains is one of three exhibitions exploring why culture and heritage are attacked during war. Running concurrently with Art in Exile, looking at how cultural treasures in British museums and galleries were evacuated during the Second World War.
