In their report Ofsted noted that “children make progress” and “behave well” at the nursery. Ofsted said that “children arrive at this nursery to a warm welcome from staff who are caring and attentive to their needs”. BabyiSH staff were further praised for “creating activities which create excitement”. The report said that “when exploring the bug garden outside, children scuttle to find the insects under pots and squeal in excitement when they find one”.

The inspector noted the improvements made by Rachel Simon, the nursery manager, since the last inspection. The inspector said that “she is ambitious in her vision for the nursery and shares this with her staff to ensure that improvements and practice remain consistent for the children”.

Ofsted also noted the arrangements for safeguarding are effective.

Rabbi Eli Levin, South Hampstead United Synagogue’s Rabbi and Executive Director, said: “We are delighted that BabyiSH has once again been recognised by Ofsted to be the good nursery we and our parents know it is.

“The improvement in its rating this time is testament to Rachel Simon’s hard work and dedication, who together with her team and Early Years consultant have addressed the issues raised by Ofsted and made the necessary improvements. I know from experience how warm and welcoming our nursery is and the positive Jewish environment the team have worked so hard to create. Please God together we will take BabyiSH forward to even greater heights.”
