Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Scott Kashket says he can’t wait for his side’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Tottenham Hotspur.

The tie will hold extra significance for the 20-year-old, who grew up as a Spurs supporter. Kashket, who’s the League Two club’s top goalscorer with 13 goals, was last week voted the League Two Player of the Month for December, and told Jewish News: “As a Spurs fan, it’s a game I always wanted to play, in a stadium I always wanted to play in, and with most of my family being fans too, it will be interesting!”

WYCOMBE WANDERERS’ REACTION ON DRAWING SPURS:

Delighted with the draw, he said: “It’s brilliant, not just to get Tottenham, but one of the big Premier League teams and one of the best in the country. “You’ve got to go there, think it’s one game in the FA Cup and anything can happen. To test yourself against teams like that is something you want to do as a player, but we can’t get too carried away as we have other games to play first of all.”
