Faithfold recorded the result of the day in Division One, beating previously unbeaten Chigwell, while Greg Morris scored a match-winning hat-trick for Glenthorne in Division Two, writes Jeremy Silverstone

Two goals from Louis Taylor produced the upset of the season so far, as bottom-of-the-table Faithfold beat title-chasing Chigwell 2-0. The win was Faithfold’s first of the campaign, having previously suffered seven successive losses, and it was also a first defeat of the season for Chigwell, who surrendered the Division’s only unbeaten record.

Elsewhere, HMH and Scrabble drew 3-3, with James Temple scoring two spot-kicks and Elliott Toffel on target for HMH, in response to goals from Scrabble’s Nigel Goldthorpe, Stefan Simons and debutant Jon Cohen.

St John’s Wood Tigers and Temple Fortune played out a 1-1 draw with Jonny Feinmesser and Robert Botkai netting respectively.

A hat-trick from Greg Morris earned Glenthorne a 3-2 win over Hendon Harriers after Brian Deal and Simon Black had given Harriers a 2-0 lead.
