Sunday Masters review – week 14
DIVISION ONE:
Leaders North London Raiders suffered a surprise defeat at the hands of Scrabble Harmen. David Lederman scored for Raiders, but goals from Jeremy Teacher and Steven Moss gave Scrabble a 2-1 win.
Meanwhile, despite Scott Ansher and Scott Warren giving Brady A the lead over Waldaf Town, two goals from Hezi Yeichel, coupled with strikes from Mike Lax and Ami Wynbourne saw Waldaf to a 4-2 win, moving them to within a point of Raiders.
At the foot of the table, a Glenn Davis penalty midway through the first half was enough to give Chigwell a 1-0 win over Faithfold.
DIVISION TWO:
Zigzag Marshside swept aside the challenge from Hendon Harriers thanks to an own goal and strikes from Faramarz Moghim, Leon Pernikis, Sam Nourazi and Simon Black, as they recorded a comfortable 5-0 victory.
St John’s Wood Tigers beat Glenthorne 4-1 thanks to efforts from John Perloff, Dean Schulberg, Ashley Davidson and Jonny Feinmesser. Brian Deal scored Glenthorne’s consolation.
